1. Introduction

Wakeflix ("we," "us," or "our") is a video-based alarm clock app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data. Wakeflix is developed and operated by Anshul Sood.

2. Data Collection & Local Storage

No Personal Data Collection: Wakeflix does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information (such as your name, email, or contacts) to our own servers.

Local Data: Your alarm times, video selections, and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Device Protected Storage (Direct Boot): To ensure your alarms function after a device restart (even before you unlock your phone), we store a copy of your alarm metadata and selected video in the device's "Protected Storage" (DE). This data never leaves your device.

3. Analytics & Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

Wakeflix does not display advertisements. We use Google Firebase Crashlytics solely to diagnose crashes and improve app stability. It may collect the following limited, non-personal data:

• Diagnostics: Crash logs, stack traces, and app performance data.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version at the time of a crash.

4. Permissions

• Full-Screen Intent: Used strictly to show your alarm video over the lock screen.
• Alarm Manager: Used to schedule your wake-up calls.
• Receive Boot Completed: Used to restore your alarms after the device restarts.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Wakeflix stores all user-generated data (alarms and video settings) locally on your device. This data is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app. Since we do not collect personal data on our own servers, we do not maintain a database for user account deletion. 6. In-App Purchases

Wakeflix offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features. All financial transactions are processed securely by the Google Play Store billing system. Wakeflix does not collect or store your credit card or financial information.
