1. Introduction

Wakeflix ("we," "us," or "our") is a video-based alarm clock app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data. Wakeflix is developed and operated by Anshul Sood.

2. Data Collection & Local Storage

No Personal Data Collection: Wakeflix does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information (such as your name, email, or contacts) to our own servers.

Local Data: Your alarm times, video selections, and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Device Protected Storage (Direct Boot): To ensure your alarms function after a device restart (even before you unlock your phone), we store a copy of your alarm metadata and selected video in the device's "Protected Storage" (DE). This data never leaves your device.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. To provide and improve these services, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share the following data types:

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Wakeflix stores all user-generated data (alarms and video settings) locally on your device. This data is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app. Since we do not collect personal data on our own servers, we do not maintain a database for user account deletion. If you have questions about data stored via Google AdMob, please refer to Google's data handling policies.

6. In-App Purchases

Wakeflix offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features. All financial transactions are processed securely by the Google Play Store billing system. Wakeflix does not collect or store your credit card or financial information.
